Learn how to remove Peel and Stick and Paste the Wall wallpapers with simple step by step instructions and video guidance. This guide helps you achieve a smooth and professional finish with ease.

Peel and Stick Wallpaper Removal

Before You Begin

Clear the area around the wall. Remove any wall fixtures like switch plates, frames, or shelves so you have enough space to work comfortably.

Step 1: Start at a Corner

Begin at the top corner of a panel. Gently lift the edge using your fingers. If needed, use a thin tool only to lift the edge, not to scrape the wall.

2: Peel Slowly Downward

Pull the wallpaper down slowly, keeping it close to the wall. Removing it in the same direction it was installed helps it come off more easily.

3. Take Your Time

Work slowly and evenly. If you pull too fast, the wallpaper may tear or pull paint. Let the panel release naturally as you peel.

4. Remove Panel by Panel

Remove one panel at a time using the same method. Let each strip fall naturally as you peel so it does not stick back to the wall.

5. Check the Wall

After removal, the wall should be clean and undamaged. Peel and stick wallpaper is designed to come off without leaving residue or marks.

Helpful Tip

If any section feels tight, slow down and peel gently. This helps the adhesive release cleanly.

Before You Begin

Clear the area around the wall and remove any wall fixtures like switch plates or frames. This gives you enough space to work comfortably.

1. Find an Edge or Seam

Start at a corner or along a seam. Gently lift the edge of the wallpaper with your fingers.

2. Peel Slowly

Pull the wallpaper down in a steady motion. Do not pull too fast. Slow peeling helps protect the wall.

3. Remove in Strips

Peel one strip at a time. Most non-woven wallpapers come off in full strips without tearing.

4. Take Your Time

If any part feels tight, stop and adjust your grip. Peeling slowly helps the wallpaper release easily.

After removal, the wall should be mostly clean. If any paste is left, wipe it gently with a damp cloth once the wall is dry.
