Deeply rooted in traditional methods, Kusum creates her own colours using natural flowers and minerals, a practice that keeps her craft sustainable and authentic. Each piece she paints is a labour of love, taking anywhere from one to four months to complete, with Kusum devoting over seven hours a day to her intricate work.
